She Hunts in Kunstmuseet Nord-Trøndelag

Exhibition at Museum of reconstruction, Hammerfest

The new series “Liberation and reconstruction: A portrait of the north” was exhibited for the first time at The museum of reconstruction/Gjenreisningsmuseet in Hammerfest, Norway, Feb-May 2024.

Feature: Life by NATO´s border in the North, in Klassekampen

The Norwegian newspaper Klassekampen presented a 10 page spread about the northernmost county of Norway, which borders to Russia and is therefore NATOs border in the north. In this partly arctic climate zone, the indigenous Sami people, the finnish descendant Kven people, the Norwegians and also Russians have lived together for hundreds of years.

She Hunts exhibited in Matino, Italy

She Hunts is a solo exhibition during the Yeast photo festival in Matino, southern Italy between July and September 2022. The images of women hunters in Norway are displayed in an abandoned butchery. The curator is Edda Fahrenhorst and the leader of the Yeast festival is Veronica Nicolardi.

She Hunts exhibited at Agatunet, Norway

The museum Agatunet in western Norway has a exhibition of She Hunts, until august 7th. The pictures got a new life on these colorful, historical walls. The newspaper Hardanger Folkeblad made a nice feature on the exhibition.

Reclaiming sami identity in Språknytt

Different stories about how the sami people of northern Norway reclaim their language and culture has been published in Språknytt, a language magazine in Norwegian.
